Outdoor Recreation Grants Program
The mission of the Outdoor Recreation Grants Program is to improve the management, planning and overall quality of Arkansas's Outdoor recreation resources through advocacy, research, technical assistance, and grant funding.
The Outdoor Recreation Grants Advisory Committee is scheduled to meet on October 26, 27 and 28 in Little Rock and Jacksonville.
The committee will first meet at 8:30 a.m. on October 26 in the State Parks Conference Room of the Multi-Agency Complex at One Capitol Mall in Little Rock. This meeting will allow the Outdoor Recreation Grants Program staff to assist the committee with the review of the Fiscal Year 2023 FUN Park and Matching grant applications for city and county park acquisition and development.
The committee will meet again with invited Outdoor Recreation Matching Grant Applicants at 8:30 a.m. on October 27 and October 28 in Meeting Rooms A and B of the Jacksonville Community Center at 5 Municipal Drive in Jacksonville. Times have been scheduled for each applicant to describe their grant request and answer committee members’ questions prior to the committee making its recommendations.
